Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for authorized use of Crawlhub and how to report misuse.

Provisional version 19 October 2026

Authorized work only

This policy applies to accounts, support forms, proxy checks and any other Crawlhub feature. Use only proxies, systems and data that you are authorized to access. Follow applicable law and the terms governing your target systems.

Prohibited uses

  • Unauthorized access, credential stuffing, account takeover, phishing, fraud or impersonation.
  • Malware distribution, denial-of-service attacks, destructive testing or attempts to disrupt another system.
  • Access to private networks or data without permission, including attempts to bypass the checker’s network restrictions.
  • Illegal content, exploitation, harassment or violations of another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
  • Spam, abusive submissions, fabricated support requests or attempts to evade service limits by rotating accounts or network identities.
  • Sharing stolen credentials, exposing another user’s data or probing Crawlhub beyond what you are authorized to test.

Your responsibilities

Check that you have the required permissions before making requests. Minimize the data you collect and protect any personal information or credentials you handle. Stop a task if you discover it accesses information you are not entitled to use.

Do not put passwords, API keys, access tokens or unnecessary personal data into support messages, saved query text or target URLs.

Report abuse or a vulnerability

Email hello@crawlhub.ai with the affected URL or feature, approximate time and a description of the issue. Include only the evidence needed to understand the report and remove credentials and unrelated personal information.

For security reports, do not access other users’ data, disrupt service or continue testing after demonstrating the issue. No public bug-bounty payment or response-time commitment is offered.

How reports are handled

We review reports and may restrict requests, suspend access or remove material where needed to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law. We may ask for information relevant to the affected account or activity. Contact the support address if you believe a restriction was applied incorrectly.

This policy does not promise that every customer has passed identity checks or that every report will be resolved immediately. Account email verification and product identity checks are different processes.
