Cookies and Browser Storage

Storage used for sign-in, interface preferences and site security.

Provisional version 19 October 2026

What this notice covers

Websites can use cookies and other browser storage. Crawlhub uses browser storage for sign-in and selected account-interface settings. Its hosting and security providers may also use cookies for request security.

The current application does not load advertising or audience-analytics scripts. There is no marketing-cookie consent switch because those features are not enabled. If optional tracking is introduced, its notice and controls will be provided before use.

Current browser storage

InformationPurpose and handling
Sign-in sessionThe Supabase client stores the session under crawlhub-auth-v1 in local storage, with related authentication-flow storage when needed. This keeps you signed in and allows session refresh. Signing out clears the active session.
Sidebar preferencecrawlhub-sidebar:<account-id> remembers whether you collapsed the dashboard sidebar. It stays until changed or your browser storage is cleared.
Account-deletion noticeA short-lived session-storage flag may be used to show the account-deleted message. It is removed after that notice is read or when the tab session ends.
Request-generator inputCookies, JavaScript and response bodies stay in the current tab memory; saving a draft excludes cookies and JavaScript. Copying code or downloading a response creates a copy you control.
Proxy-checker inputProxy lists and results are held in page memory, not saved as a browser-storage history. Reloading or closing the page clears that working state.
Hosting securityCloudflare security checks can use security cookies or browser checks. Which checks apply depends on the request and the hosting configuration; we do not set them for advertising.

Manage storage

Use Sign out to end the active browser session, or Sign out everywhere in Settings for other refresh sessions. You can also remove site data in your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing site data signs you out and resets local interface preferences, but it does not delete server-side account data.

Blocking browser storage can prevent sign-in and related account features from working. Use Settings to delete your account rather than relying on clearing browser data.
