Product capabilities

Choose the location. Control the session.

Use these details to plan your setup. Supported options and limits are confirmed before activation.

01

Location targeting

Start with a preferred country. Include city, ZIP or ASN requirements when discussing access so the right targeting options can be confirmed.

02

Rotation for independent requests

A rotating connection is suited to separate collection jobs. Keep rotation behavior explicit in your client and confirm how persistent connections are handled.

03

Sticky sessions for multi-step flows

Use a consistent session for related requests, such as a cart or a sequence of public pages. Session duration and availability are confirmed before activation.

04

Traffic-based plans

Compare pay-as-you-go traffic with monthly allowances. Measure the data sent and received through the connection, rather than counting IPs.

05

Use your existing client

Prepare an HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 connection for your scraper, browser or application. Keep the proxy credentials separate from your dashboard password.

06

One saved setup per product

Save your country, protocol and session preferences in the dashboard. Return to the same configuration when product access is available.

Sourcing and transparency

Consent comes before access.

Residential access depends on a supplier network with documented consent, withdrawal options and responsible use. Those arrangements must be verified before Crawlhub activates its network.

  2. Withdrawal processConfirm that participating users can stop sharing.
  3. Authorized useDefine permitted collection and how misuse is handled.

Integration and documentation

Start with one request.

Use the host, port and credentials supplied with an active proxy. This example prompts for the proxy password rather than placing it in the command.

Questions, answered

Before you connect.

What is a residential proxy?

A residential proxy routes traffic through an IP associated with an internet service provider's residential network. The destination receives the request from that exit IP.

Rotating or sticky: which should I use?

Use rotation for independent requests. A sticky session is useful when related requests need a consistent connection. Confirm the session lifetime before relying on it.

How is traffic measured?

Residential pricing is based on GB of data sent and received through the proxy. Paid rates and monthly allowances will be provided later.

Where do the IPs come from?

The intended model is consent-based sourcing through suppliers. Crawlhub has not activated its residential network; supplier, consent and withdrawal details must be verified before access is offered.

Can I target a city or internet provider?

Country is available as a saved setup preference. Add any city, ZIP or ASN requirements to your inquiry so product support can confirm availability.
